Worcs Girls Can will run from the 4 - 10th March 2019!

Worcs Girls Can is a vibrant celebration of active females. The campaign directly tackles the fear of judgement that, according to research, stops so many women and girls from participating in sport and physical activity. The initiative shows us that we do not have to be the most graceful, the fastest or the strongest to benefit from all of the positive feelings that sport and physical activity can bring.

We are committed to providing fun, exciting and easily accessible physical activity opportunities for Worcestershire females. If you are a sports club, activity provider or coach who would like to get involved, then please fill in the expression of interest form here.

Lead Schools

This year we will be working with 8 lead schools across Worcestershire to help us engage even more girls in sport and physical activity:

Bromsgrove - North Bromsgrove High School

Malvern - The Chantry School

Redditch - Trinity High School

Worcester - Tudor Grange Academy Worcester & Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College

Wychavon - The De Montford School & Bowbrook House School

Wyre Forest - The Bewdley School and Sixth Form Centre

Peach Passes

The Peach Pass scheme enables women and girls to access a free sport/physical activity session in the local community. We will be teaming up with a host of leisure providers, sport clubs and community organisations to improve the accessibility of physical activity and break down the barriers that so many of our young women experience.

Peach Passes for Worcs Girls Can will be available to download from this page during the campaign weeks, meaning that females can take their sister, mum, aunt or friend along for free! The list of all available activities will also be shown below.
