Worcestershire Headteachers' PE and health briefing
Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire invite you to attend the Headteachers' PE, health and school sport briefing on 15th March 2017, 8.30am (for 8.45am start) - 11.30am.
The Briefing is designed specifically for Headteachers to enable schools to receive more strategic support. Each school has two free places at the briefing, however one of the places must be filled by a Headteacher or Governor, the other by a PE Co-ordinator or other appropriate member of staff. We ask that a PE Co-ordinator or equivalent, should accompany and not replace Headteachers or Governors.
The briefing will include the following keynote speeches:
- Healthy schools: why and how to develop physical activity within your school with Worcestershire schools case studies.
Dr Frances Howie, Director of Public Health Worcestershire
- Impact of Sport Premium on children: exploring ways to demonstrate impact, for staff, Governors and other outside agencies and departments Jeanette Quinn, Cheltenham and North TewkesburySchool Sport Network and Richard Vaughan, Headteacher - Twyning School
There will be an opportunity to network after the briefing with staff and keynote speakers.
Tea, coffee and pastries will be served on arrival.
