West Midlands Community Sports Awards

Nominations for the West Midlands Community Sports Awards are now open!

Organised by the six County Sports Partnerships in the West Midlands, the West Midlands Community Sports Awards aims to recognise and celebrate the power of sport within local communities.

The six County Sports Partnerships - Sport Birmingham, Sport Across Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent (SASSOT), Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire, Coventry, Solihull & Warwickshire Sport, Black County BeActive Partnership and Energize Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin - will work together to recognise the most deserving sports stars, coaches, volunteers, clubs and projects from across the West Midlands at this high profile, star-studded event.

The categories for 2018 include Community Coach of the Year, Community Club of the Year, Community Project of the Year and Aspiring Talent as well as one special BBC award; the BBC Local Radio Power of Sport Award.

Before you make your nomination please download and read carefully the 2018 West Midlands Community Sports Awards Criteria below.

In order to make a nomination you will require full details on your nominee including postal and email address, date of birth (if applicable), and an electronic photograph. Please ensure you have these to hand prior to completing a nomination form.

All nominations require a photo to be uploaded. This photo could be an action shot, in team kit, receiving awards, medals, trophies, coaching/volunteering or a photo that best depicts a club, school or project.
