Local Parks

In Herefordshire and Worcestershire, we are fortunate to have wonderful natural assets ranging from forests, lakes, rivers, hills and parkland. Our two counties form the perfect landscape for physical activity, from canoeing down the River Wye to strolling the Malvern Hills and exploring the Wyre Forest.

Our Get Active Outdoors campaign celebrates the countless opportunities to get outside and discover the beautiful local parks as well as various activity opportunities. From treasure trails to weekly parkrun there are a number of activities on offer. Discover them with our activity finder below.

Local Parks


Whatever your current level of fitness there is no slacking at boot camp, our instructors will encourage you to push past your mental or physical barriers, helping you achieve what you thought you couldn't do.

A mix of running and resistance training, challenging every muscle in your body and with little time for rest you'll burn hundreds of calories, even when you stop.

Parkruns are a free, timed, five kilometre events organised across the world to be safe and welcoming for anyone and everyone.

Worcester Pitchcroft parkrun

A free of charge weekly 5km running event at Pitchcroft park (The Racecourse) in Worcester City.
The event starts at 9:00am every Saturday and is open to all ages and abilities.
