An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to deliver a nationally funded innovation project in conjunction with: Get Berkshire Active, Active Oxfordshire and Leap (the Active Partnerships for Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire respectively) and the NHS BOB (Bucks, Ox, Berks West) STP Prevention Group.

About Active Medicine Programme Manager

This role requires an experienced and dynamic individual willing to evolve and develop the position to ensure the programme makes a real difference and has the desired impact. The ambition of the programme is to provide an uplift in skills, knowledge and confidence to health sector staff to enable them to have more productive and useful conversations around physical activity with patients. The ideal candidate will understand the local NHS/ PH/CCG landscape, be great at forging relationships and be enthusiastic about the role physical activity can play in promoting and maintaining health.

At a glance:

• A two year-fixed term initial contract

• Full-time but will consider other options for the right candidate

• Will consider secondment for candidates within the NHS / Public Sector

• In the order of £37-40k per annum
