PART-TIME OPPORTUNITY (MARCH - JUNE)
The East Midlands County Cricket Boards (CCB) and Regional Participation and Growth team is looking to recruit aspiring individuals to join the world of Social media and Marketing.
The successful applicant will gain valuable experience across recreational sports social media, marketing and administration. The role will operate across recreational cricket clubs in the East Midlands supporting volunteers across the game to maximise their use of social media and the national marketing assets available to enhance awareness of priority programmes at a local level.
Typically, activities will include;
- Supporting and upskilling club volunteers on the best use of social media
- Monitoring cricket clubs social media activity; sharing good practice and identifying where improvements needed
- Supporting cricket clubs to expand and grow their reach, engaging with new audiences
- Supporting CWC Clubs to maximise the impact of their events
- Identify opportunities for clubs to better promote themselves and generate income
Multiple officers will be recruited for this role which will operate across Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire. Much of the role can be performed working from home but there will be a requirement to meet at Sports Park, Loughborough University, Loughborough on occasions. The role will last for 14 weeks with support provided by the Regional Participation and Growth team alongside CCB Officers. Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and will be employed by the Derbyshire Cricket Board in partnership with the ECB.

Salary: £1,137 - £1,630* (*based on 10 -15hrs p/w for 14wks at £7.05p/h – Apprentice rate for 21-24year olds - Salary may vary depending on age). The role will involve working evenings and weekends, supporting recreational cricket clubs.
Expenses will be paid for any costs associated within the role (including travel and the relevant equipment). Travel and expenses can be claimed from the place of work.
