Here Girls Can will run from the 11-17th March 2019!

Here Girls Can is a vibrant celebration of active females. The campaign directly tackles the fear of judgement that, according to research, stops so many women and girls from participating in sport and physical activity. The initiative shows us that we do not have to be the most graceful, the fastest or the strongest to benefit from all of the positive feelings that sport and physical activity can bring.

Lead Schools

This year we will be working with 3 lead schools across Herefordshire to help us engage even more girls in sport and physical activity:

St Mary's RC High School

Fairfield School

Aylestone School

Sports club, activity provider or coach? Get involved!

We are committed to providing fun, exciting and easily accessible physical activity opportunities for Herefordshire females. If you are a sports club, activity provider or coach who would like to get involved, then please fill in the expression of interest form here.

Peach Passes

The Peach Pass scheme enables women and girls to access a free sport/physical activity session in the local community. We will be teaming up with a host of leisure providers, sport clubs and community organisations to improve the accessibility of physical activity and break down the barriers that so many of our young women experience.

Peach Passes for Here Girls Can will be available to download from this page during the campaign weeks, meaning that females can take their sister, mum, aunt or friend along for free! The list of all available activities will also be shown below.

We are delighted to team up with Halo Leisure for another year! Halo will be offering an open pass to any female with a Peach Pass, meaning that you can try any class, a swim or gym for free! Visit their website for full timetables.
