The are a number of local, regional and national sources of funding available to clubs, groups, facilities, coaches and talented individuals. The finding finder below can help you identify suitable sources of funding for your project, programme or facility development. The Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire can provide additional advice and support to your club/group to identify the most suitable sources of funding and the team can also help with the application process. Local, Regional and National funding sources can added to the Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire's Funding Finder. To submit a funding source click on the 'Add Fund' icon and complete the form. All submissions will be approved prior to becoming live. Morrisons Foundation

up to £20,000

Grants are available to registered charities for new projects which will improve people's lives in the UK

The National Lottery Heritage Lottery Fund

£100,000 to £5,000,000

Historic public parks and cemeteries are valued places at the centre of local communities. Help to conserve them with funding of £100,000–£5million.

James Brownhill Memorial Fund

Each year bursaries will be awarded to part fund training courses run by Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre. The JBMF currently provides 12 bursaries a year.

Whizz-Kidz

Whizz-Kidz provides a range of mobility equipment to children with disabilities, to give them independence at home, at school and at play.

Aspire Grants for Spinal Cord Injury

Aspire provides practical help to people who have been paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury, supporting them from injury to independence.

B&Q operates a waste donation scheme through all stores

Gift Aid Small Donations (CASC)

Foyle Foundation Small Grants Scheme

Our Small Grants Scheme is designed to support smaller charities in the UK, especially those working at grass roots and local community level, in any field, across a wide range of activities.

Football Foundation Premier League & The FA Facilities Fund Small Grants Scheme

£1,000 to £10,000

The Premier League and The FA Facilities Fund Small Grants Scheme awards grants of up to £10,000 for the provision of capital items, or to refurbish/improve existing facilities.

The Bernard Sunley Charitable Foundation

£25,000

The Bernard Sunley Charitable Foundation (BSCF) was established in 1960 and is a general grant making trust.

Sports Aid

SportsAid Awards help Athletes to meet essential costs such as travel, training, accommodation, competition fees and equipment.

Biffa Award

£10,000 to £75,000

Biffa Award uses money from landfill tax credits, donated by Biffa Waste Services to award grants to community and environmental projects across the UK.

Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete UK Landfill Communities Fund

Local groups can apply for funding for a wide range of community and environmental projects within 7 miles of a Lafarge - Tarmac site.

BBC's Children in Need grants programme

Open to organisations working with young people who are 18 years and under and are disadvantaged

Coalfields Regeneration Trust: Community Grants

£500 to £10,000

The Coalfields Community Grants programme provides funding from £500 to £10,000 to organisations who will make a positive difference in their community

Cyclists Fighting Cancer

Primarily encourage exercise and activity for the child surviving cancer

The DBA Club Development Fund

£500 to £10,000

Fund to encourage formally constituted sports clubs of all levels to develop sustainable environments that allow disabled people access to sport.

Julie Tullis Memorial Award

Grant to assist mountaineers to achieve their climbing or mountaineering ambitions

THE RICHARD OVERALL TRUST

The aim of the Trust is to advance the physical education of disabled young individuals and groups through the provision of grants to allow their participation in or attendance at sporting activities, or the purchase of equipment for sporting events or activities.

Sports wheelchairs are donated to disabled young people
