The are a number of local, regional and national sources of funding available to clubs, groups, facilities, coaches and talented individuals. The finding finder below can help you identify suitable sources of funding for your project, programme or facility development. The Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire can provide additional advice and support to your club/group to identify the most suitable sources of funding and the team can also help with the application process. Local, Regional and National funding sources can added to the Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire's Funding Finder. Awards for All England

£300 to £10,000

Financial assistance is available for voluntary groups, schools, local authorities and health bodies in England to carry out projects that will improve their local community.

Leicestershire and Rutland Community Foundation - Donor Matching Scheme

up to £3,000

Grants are available to local charitable groups for small local projects that benefit the communities of Leicestershire and Rutland.

Tesco Local Community Fund

up to £12,000

Tesco's Local Community Grants scheme is open for applications. This new scheme is funded by the proceeds of carrier bag charges and is being administered for Tesco by Groundwork.

One Family Foundation Community Awards

The OneFamily Foundation is a way of redistributing profits – an amount too small to make a meaningful difference if shared out to each and every customer. But, when pooled together, we have the chance to do something special – to make something better for those that matter most to us in our families or communities. With your help, the OneFamily Foundation intend to distribute £5 million over the next five years.

Torch Trophy Trust bursaries

up to £1,000

Torch Trophy Trust bursaries provide financial support to individuals or groups wishing to undertake training to enhance their knowledge or improve their coaching skills to assist their club, organisation or community to develop their chosen sport.

The Rank Foundation- Small appeals grants

up to £7,500

The Rank Foundation supports projects that encourage and develop leadership amongst young people, or support disadvantaged young people. The Small Appeals programme awards grants of less than £7,500.

Peter Stormonth Darling Charitable Trust Grant

£1,000 to £10,000

Grant for charitable organisations carrying out social welfare activities in the UK. In particular, the scheme wishes to support projects with the following themes. Medical, the arts, sports, heritage and education.

Percy Bilton Charity - Grants for Organisations

up to £5,000

Grants are made to organisations in need throughout the U.K.

In Kind Direct

This is one of The Prince’s Charities set up to support charities and non-for-profit organisations with donated goods. Goods range from cleaning products, Sports equipment, clothes, toys and a range of other items that can be used to run services and give to the people you support.

Get Kids Going!

£500 to £15,000

Get Kids Going! is a National charity which provides disabled children and young people up to 26 years with the funding for specialist sports wheelchairs to enable them to participate in disability sports.

CSSC Sports & Leisure - Activity Subsidy Scheme

up to £20

CSSC Sports & Leisure - Activity Subsidy Scheme offers financial assistance for members to undertake activities that meet the scheme's criteria.

CSSC Sports & Leisure - Training Subsidy Scheme

up to £75

The Scheme provides a guaranteed level of reimbursement against fees for accredited training to assist them become a sports coach, referee, umpire or other official.

England Golf Trust - Angela Uzielli fund

£1,250 to £1,500

The Bursaries will be awarded to promising girl golfers who wish to further their education at University or College, within the British Isles, after school academic year 12, and at the same time continue to develop their golfing skills. They should be of English nationality by birth or have either parent of English nationality, or have been resident in England for the last two years. The Bursaries are to provide financial assistance for educational expenses of girls in further education.

Bowls England Development Loan

up to £20,000

Development Loans are available for Bowls clubs affiliated with Bowls England and relates to any item such as clubhouse improvements, fencing, car parks and changing rooms and loans of up to £20,000 (free of interest), repayable over up to eight years, are available.

Central Social & Recreational Trust Grant

up to £1,000

The CSRT aims to improve the conditions of boys and girls under the age of 21 and of all other persons by reason of their poverty who would otherwise be unable to obtain facilities for recreational or other leisure time occupations.

Lennox and Wyfold Foundation

Grants are available to registered charities in England and Wales in support of a variety of charitable causes.

Hudson Charitable Trust

Grant for registered charities carrying out health, welfare or education projects in the UK.

Morrisons Foundation

up to £20,000

Grants are available to registered charities for new projects which will improve people's lives in the UK

James Brownhill Memorial Fund

Each year bursaries will be awarded to part fund training courses run by Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre. The JBMF currently provides 12 bursaries a year.
