The are a number of local, regional and national sources of funding available to clubs, groups, facilities, coaches and talented individuals. The finding finder below can help you identify suitable sources of funding for your project, programme or facility development. The Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire can provide additional advice and support to your club/group to identify the most suitable sources of funding and the team can also help with the application process. Local, Regional and National funding sources can added to the Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire's Funding Finder. To submit a funding source click on the 'Add Fund' icon and complete the form. All submissions will be approved prior to becoming live. Wooden Spoon: The Children’s Charity for Rugby

Their main beneficiaries are under 25 years of age and disadvantaged by way of physical or mental disability or social deprivation – or any combination of the three. Please ensure you read the Wooden Spoon project criteria before applying.

Supports young people (under 30) in the UK who want to use volunteering or community service to set up something new in their community.

John Merricks Sailing Trust

Supporting youth sailing

Supporting disadvantaged and disengaged young people.

Zurich Community Trust - Local Grants Programme

£250 to £5,000

Grants are available for local voluntary organisations and charities that work with disadvantaged people and help them achieve a more fulfilling and independent lifestyle. 15-mile radius of Zurich office in B16 9PF grants are offered.

Premier League & FA Facilities Fund

£1,000 to £10,000

Not for profit organisations that are looking to refurbish their existing or develop new football facilities can apply for grants of up to £10,000 through the Football Foundation's Premier League & the FA Facilities Fund Small Grants Scheme.
The funding is available for the provision of capital items, or to refurbish/improve existing facilities.

The Greggs Foundation – Local Community Project Fund

up to £2,000

The Local Community Projects Fund helps organisations based in local communities to deliver projects or provide equipment to people in need at the heart of our local communities. The programme is administered by seven charity committees throughout England, Wales and Scotland.

Rugby Football Foundation: Groundmatch Grants

£1,500 to £5,000

The Groundmatch Scheme provides easy-to-access grant funding for capital projects which contribute to the recruitment and retention of community rugby players.

The Dan Maskell Tennis Trust

up to £1,500

Helping disabled people access tennis opportunities through funding for wheelchairs, equipment and grants.

Wilkinson’s Helping Hands Grants

Helping the local community is really important to us. If you're a local charity or community group in need of a helping hand, please visit your local wilko store to pick up an application form.

Central Social and Recreational Trust

up to £1,000

Grants are available for sports clubs and organisations in the UK to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for the benefit of disadvantaged children who are under the age of 21 years.

Boost Charitable Trust

up to £500

The Trust supports charities or non-profit making organisations with a focus on sport. All of its activities are designed to champion the disabled and disadvantaged and to inspire them to overcome their challenges through sport.

Football Foundation - Respect Scheme

The FA and Foundation’s Respect barriers and Respect packs (made up of captains’ armbands, marshals’ bibs and Respect Signage) are available to football leagues and clubs to ensure there is good behaviour by players and parents alike in the grassroots game, with money provided by The FA and vouchers supplied by the Foundation.

Club Cashback Scheme

The Club Cashback Scheme is a partnership between the Foundation and Club Website to support local clubs, raise much needed funds, and ensure future sustainability within the grassroots game.

Samworth Brothers 'Sports Opportunity' Fund

Samworth Brothers are offering grants to help develop local sports projects.

Sir Andrew Martin Trust Grant

£100 to £1,000

The Sir Andrew Martin Trust aims to reward skilled young people and youth organisations in the area.

Joe Humphries Memorial Trust - Inspire Awards

up to £500

The Inspire Awards will provide financial assistance to young people aged 13 to 21 years old.

England Golf Trust

The England Golf Trust (previously known as the EWGA Trust) is a charitable organisation, helping young people in financial need who, without its support, would not be able to play golf.

Bowls England Coaching Bursary

Coaching Bursary Scheme to assist members of affiliated clubs who wish to obtain a Coach Bowls qualification.
