The are a number of local, regional and national sources of funding available to clubs, groups, facilities, coaches and talented individuals. The finding finder below can help you identify suitable sources of funding for your project, programme or facility development. The Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire can provide additional advice and support to your club/group to identify the most suitable sources of funding and the team can also help with the application process. Local, Regional and National funding sources can added to the Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire's Funding Finder. Opportunities Through Sport

£5,000

The foundation supports sporting activity or projects which provide opportunities for people who are disabled or otherwise disadvantaged to fulfil their potential and to develop other personal and life skills

THE PERCY BILTON CHARITY

up to £5,000

Only registered charities in the U.K. whose primary objectives are to assist one or more of the following groups:
Disadvantaged/underprivileged young people (under 25 years of age)
People with disabilities (physical or learning disabilities) or mental health problems
Older people (aged over 60)

Wakeham Trust Grant

£125 to £2,500

The Wakeham Trust generally fund projects that are small scale and would find it hard to get funding from big trusts.

In general they like to help projects that are small scale and would find it hard to get funding from big trusts. They do not respond to national appeals and we (almost) never pay for building work, vehicles, or professional salaries.

Garfield Weston Foundation Grant

The Garfield Weston Foundation is a family-founded, charitable grant-making foundation. The Trustees have a preference for charities directly delivering services and activities to those in need, and are especially keen to see applications from charities in the Welfare, Youth and Community sectors and also in regions of economic disadvantage.

CSRT Grant

up to £1,000

The CSRT aims to improve the conditions of boys and girls in England under the age of 21 and of all other persons by reasons of their poverty who would otherwise be unable to obtain facilities for recreational or other leisure time occupations.
To provide facilities for recreational or other leisure in the interests of social welfare, provide equipment and maintain gymnasiums or buildings to be used for recreational or other leisure time
To provide instruction or supervision
To organise any activity for the purposes of providing facilities for such recreational or other leisure time occupation

Blue Spark

up to £5,000

Blue Spark Foundation is a registered charity which supports the education and development of children and young people by providing grants for educational, cultural, sporting and other projects.

Local Investment in Future Talent - LIFT

£5,000 to £50,000

The Local Investment in Future Talent (LIFT) programme is a delegated grant scheme for voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSE) and other relevant organisations who can deliver a range of employability and skills support projects in the rural areas of Norfolk and North Suffolk.

HPC Community Fund - Small Grants Programme

up to £5,000

Somerset Community Foundation is managing the HPC Community Fund to support communities to mitigate the impacts of the Hinkley Point C development - £2 million has already been awarded in grants to communities.

Making a Difference Fund

up to £1,500

Homes in Sedgemoor tenants, leaseholders, resident groups, voluntary & community groups and registered charities. We welcome applications from organisations that have a particular project that is targeted towards the area that we work in.

You will need a bank account in the name of the organisation with at least two signatories. If you don’t have a bank account, we may award your grant to another organisation who agrees to hold the grant on your behalf. In exceptional circumstances, we may agree to hold the grant for you and pay expenses on receiving an invoice or receipt.

Trusthouse Charitable Foundation - Community Centres & Village Halls Grants

£2,000 to £7,500

Trusthouse is interested in applications for capital projects at community centres in the most deprived urban areas and village halls in remote and economically deprived rural areas.

£500 to £2,500

The Swimathon Foundation – the charity behind the world’s biggest fundraising swim, Swimathon.

Football Foundation - Grow the Game

The Foundation’s Grow the Game Scheme provides grants of up to £1,500 for the creation of new football teams and coaching qualifications, with money provided by The FA. The Scheme is delivered by the Foundation.

British Cycling - The Places to Ride Programme

The Places to Ride programme will fund the development of new or the improvement of existing cycling facilities in communities across England.

Mick George Community Fund

£10,000 to £50,000

The Fund supports projects located in proximity to our donor’s (Mick George Ltd and recently acquired Frimstone Ltd) landfill sites and other waste treatment sites situated throughout the East Midlands and Anglian regions.

RLWC2021 Capital Grants Programme

The National Lottery Community Fund - Partnerships

£300 to £10,000

National Lottery Awards for All England offers funding from £300 to £10,000 to support what matters to people and communities.

Sporting Capital Fund

£50,000 to £150,000

A £3m fund, the first of its kind in the UK offers investment in the form of simple, flexible repayable loans of between £50k to £150k. These loans are designed to support the sustainable development of community sport clubs that deliver impact.

Hinckley and Bosworth Backed for the Future

As part of Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council's commitment to supporting talented young sports people, in partnership with Places for People Leisure they are offering a complimentary free membership for Hinckley Leisure Centre.

Active Rutland Small Grants for Equipment Fund

up to £2,000

The Small Grants for Equipment Fund is available to any sport and physical activity providers within Rutland. The purpose is to increase opportunities and support the development of grass roots participation in sport and physical activity at a local level.
