The are a number of local, regional and national sources of funding available to clubs, groups, facilities, coaches and talented individuals. The finding finder below can help you identify suitable sources of funding for your project, programme or facility development. The Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire can provide additional advice and support to your club/group to identify the most suitable sources of funding and the team can also help with the application process. Local, Regional and National funding sources can added to the Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire's Funding Finder. To submit a funding source click on the 'Add Fund' icon and complete the form. All submissions will be approved prior to becoming live. Postcode Community Trust Grant

£500 to £20,000

Postcode Community Trust provides funding for projects in Great Britain relating to improving health and wellbeing, arts and physical recreation and reducing isolation.

Cash4Clubs

£500 to £1,000

Cash4Clubs is a sports funding scheme, giving clubs a unique chance to apply for grants to improve facilities, buy new equipment, gain qualifications and invest in the sustainability of their organisation.

Bowls Development Alliance - Play Bowls Package

up to £250

£250 is available for affiliated Bowls England and English Indoor Bowls Association (EIBA Ltd) to deliver a Play Bowls Day (Open Day) followed by 4 x Play Bowls 4 Fun sessions, which are an informal, relaxed, coaching session with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment!

DM Thomas Foundation

up to £30,000

The Foundation's central grant fund supports small charities working in the areas of education or health with one of three chosen focus groups:
• Children and young people with disabilities
• Children and young people who are sick in hospital
• Children and young people who are life limited (requiring palliative care)

Active Living Programme Grants

up to £2,000

Somerset has an ageing population and so maintaining good health and independence into older age is a high priority.

Active Living Programme Grants are designed to promote the benefits of staying physically and mentally active in later life.

They are being made available by Somerset County Council Public Health and administered by Somerset Community Foundation as part of The Somerset Fund programme.

We expect the grants to mostly benefit people aged 65 and over. This is because this age group can expect the greatest gains from maintaining their health and wellbeing.

Trusthouse Charitable Foundation - Community Centres & Village Halls Grants

£2,000 to £7,500

Trusthouse is interested in applications for capital projects at community centres in the most deprived urban areas and village halls in remote and economically deprived rural areas.

HPC Community Fund - Small Grants Programme

up to £5,000

Somerset Community Foundation is managing the HPC Community Fund to support communities to mitigate the impacts of the Hinkley Point C development - £2 million has already been awarded in grants to communities.

Local Investment in Future Talent - LIFT

£5,000 to £50,000

The Local Investment in Future Talent (LIFT) programme is a delegated grant scheme for voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSE) and other relevant organisations who can deliver a range of employability and skills support projects in the rural areas of Norfolk and North Suffolk.

The Foundation’s Grow the Game Scheme provides grants of up to £1,500 for the creation of new football teams and coaching qualifications, with money provided by The FA. The Scheme is delivered by the Foundation.

RLWC2021 Capital Grants Programme

British Cycling - The Places to Ride Programme

The Places to Ride programme will fund the development of new or the improvement of existing cycling facilities in communities across England.

The Santander Foundation has two grants programmes to help disadvantaged people in the UK

People's Health Trust - Active Communities

£5,000 to £50,000

Local groups and organisations with great ideas to make their communities even better places to live are now invited to apply for funding to turn their ideas into reality.

The Astor Foundation

£250 to £1,500

Grants given for a wide range of Charitable Objectives

ASDA Foundation

Asda foundation has 5 streams of funding available.

Birkdale Trust for Hearing Impaired

Provides grants to children and young people with a hearing impairment and to organisations who provide help to such people.

Utility Aid

A free energy audit, carried out remotely by analysing your bills.

Peter Harrison Foundation - Opportunities Through Sport

Support sporting activities or projects which provide opportunities for people who are disabled or otherwise disadvantaged
