The are a number of local, regional and national sources of funding available to clubs, groups, facilities, coaches and talented individuals. The finding finder below can help you identify suitable sources of funding for your project, programme or facility development. The Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire can provide additional advice and support to your club/group to identify the most suitable sources of funding and the team can also help with the application process. Local, Regional and National funding sources can added to the Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire's Funding Finder. vInspired’s Cashpoint

up to £500

Funding for LGBT Projects Run by Young People

vInspired, the Volunteering Charity, has announced that its Cashpoint grants scheme has announced that its Loud and Proud grants programme is open for applications. These grants are accepting applications for LGBT+ projects.

The Cashpoint grants scheme offers grants of up to £500 to give young people (aged 14-25) the opportunity to bring their ideas to life.

There are no closing dates for applications and grants will be awarded on a continuous basis until all available monies are exhausted.

Caudwell Children - Enable Sport

Enable Sport provide Sports equipment to enable talented athletes to participate in competitive sport.

A common barrier for young disabled athletes to participate in sport is the lack of money for specialist equipment. Our Enable Sport Programme provides specialist disability sports equipment to support the development of talented children so that they can participate in competitive sport.

We provide a range of equipment giving young athletes the opportunity to develop their skills and progress in all types of sporting activities at local, national and international levels.

Youth Clubs Grants

Youth Clubs provide opportunity for improving social skills team spirit and self esteem.

New Funding Opportunity for Environmental Facilities

Biffa Award has announced a new funding opportunity for non profit organisations working in partnership to restore, modernise and improve facilities such as visitors centres in order to educate and engage the public.

HSBC Golf Roots Plus

up to £1,500

The purpose of an HSBC Golf Roots Plus project is to support local groups and organisations working with young people where involvement in
golf may provide an alternative and positive focus.

Active Rutland Small Grants for Equipment Fund

up to £2,000

The Small Grants for Equipment Fund is available to any sport and physical activity providers within Rutland. The purpose is to increase opportunities and support the development of grass roots participation in sport and physical activity at a local level.

Hinckley and Bosworth Backed for the Future

As part of Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council's commitment to supporting talented young sports people, in partnership with Places for People Leisure they are offering a complimentary free membership for Hinckley Leisure Centre.

Sporting Capital Fund

£50,000 to £150,000

A £3m fund, the first of its kind in the UK offers investment in the form of simple, flexible repayable loans of between £50k to £150k. These loans are designed to support the sustainable development of community sport clubs that deliver impact.

National Lottery Awards for All England

£300 to £10,000

National Lottery Awards for All England offers funding from £300 to £10,000 to support what matters to people and communities.

The National Lottery Community Fund - Partnerships

£10,000

Grants are available to voluntary and community organisations in England which work together with a shared set of goals and values.

Mick George Community Fund

£10,000 to £50,000

The Fund supports projects located in proximity to our donor’s (Mick George Ltd and recently acquired Frimstone Ltd) landfill sites and other waste treatment sites situated throughout the East Midlands and Anglian regions.

The Swimathon Foundation

£500 to £2,500

The Swimathon Foundation – the charity behind the world’s biggest fundraising swim, Swimathon.

Magic Little Grants

up to £500

The Magic Little Grants Fund provides local charities and community groups the opportunity to access up to £500 funding to deliver engaging physical activities, which help to overcome barriers to participation and has a primary aim to improve the physical health and well-being of participants.

Making a Difference Fund

up to £1,500

Homes in Sedgemoor tenants, leaseholders, resident groups, voluntary & community groups and registered charities. We welcome applications from organisations that have a particular project that is targeted towards the area that we work in.

You will need a bank account in the name of the organisation with at least two signatories. If you don’t have a bank account, we may award your grant to another organisation who agrees to hold the grant on your behalf. In exceptional circumstances, we may agree to hold the grant for you and pay expenses on receiving an invoice or receipt.
