The are a number of local, regional and national sources of funding available to clubs, groups, facilities, coaches and talented individuals. The finding finder below can help you identify suitable sources of funding for your project, programme or facility development.

The Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire can provide additional advice and support to your club/group to identify the most suitable sources of funding and the team can also help with the application process. Local, Regional and National funding sources can added to the Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire’s Funding Finder. To submit a funding source click on the ‘Add Fund’ icon and complete the form. All submissions will be approved prior to becoming live.

Year Of Young People National Lottery Fund

Amount: £3,000 to £10,000

Deadline: 12:00am - Fri 1st June, 2018

The Year of Young People National Lottery Fund will award grants for heritage, sports and community projects, supporting young people aged 8 – 26 years old to improve their wellbeing and inspiring them to lead active lives.

The Hilden Charitable Fund - Summer Play Schemes

The Fund has allocated a small budget to help community groups run summer play schemes for disadvantaged communities.

HS2 Community and Environment Fund

Round Deadline: 12:13pm - Mon 11th June, 2018

The CEF fund has been created to add benefit over and above committed mitigation and statutory compensation to communities along the route that are demonstrably disrupted by the construction of Phase One of HS2 from London to West Midlands.

Comic Relief - Safe, Secure and Settled Fund

Amount: £100,000 to £500,000

Deadline: 9:00am - Thu 14th June, 2018

Grants are available for projects in the UK, India, South Africa, Brazil and Kenya that are using sport to improve the lives of children and young people (up to 25 years) who are homeless or living in temporary accommodation to gain skills to lead safe and positive lives.
