Social Bike Rides (for Women)
We run a range of bike rides for women in Worcestershire, including our Easy (pootle at the pace of the slowest rider) up to Experienced (up to 50 miles at 13-14mph). We meet every week (usually Sundays) and also Wednesday nights (during the Summer months). We welcome all new riders to our group and we are very sociable and include a coffee/cake stop at the end or during each ride.
Bikeability (Cycling Proficiency) -FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN
These courses are aimed at women and children who CAN already ride a bike.
As a fully accredited Bikeability Scheme Provider we offer tailored small group sessions for women on a monthly basis. This is usually a Level 2/3 course that is aimed to build confidence on the road, as well as improve your knowledge on how to keep yourself safe on the road through road positioning.
We also offer Level 1/2 Bikeability for children. Level 1 is aimed at children who CAN already ride a bike and will develop their bike handling skills through a range of fun games in a traffic free environment e.g. a tennis court. Level 2 is aimed at older children (10 years plus) and aims to develop their confidence on the quiet roads.
We are pleased to say that we offer children aged 4-7 years the opportunity to ditch their stabilisers and LEARN TO RIDE with the nationally accredited Balanceability programme.
Learn to Ride (Adults)
We also offer 1:1 learn to ride sessions for adults.
